Yet another superb performance by Bidya Vidya Balan, Kahaani is one of the best thrilling thrillers of Hindi Cinema (at least in the recent times). Sujoy Ghosh's brilliant direction, Vishal-Shekhar's mesmerizing music, Advaita Kala's commanding script, Setu's impressive camerawork keeps you engaged from starting till the end.
Vidya Balan's saga of woman-centric movies continues here after Paa, Ishiqiya, No One Killed Jessica and The Dirty Picture. She has done full justice to the role as Vidya Bagchi, a pregnant lady who comes to Kolkata in search of her missing husband.
The entire cast has delivered an excellent performance. A big thumbs up for the music by Vishal-Shekhar. The tracks 'Ami Shotti Bolchi' by Usha Uthup and 'Ekla Cholo Re' by Amitabh Bachchan are just rocking. The songs and the beautifully captured Kolkata makes one nostalgic. A Home calling for the NRBs (Non-Resident-Bengalis)!
